This beautiful lady came into my life back in 2014. As you may (or may not, I don’t like to assume 😉 ) know my daughter was born with a rare condition that required surgery and spent almost 8 weeks in the NICU. While our time there was scary and exhausting we met some incredible people. Allison was one of those people.
Mila was a little over 4 weeks old when we were moved to the hall Allison worked on. I remember walking into the NICU for our “night shift” and seeing Allison’s beautiful smile greet us with “Would you like to bathe her!?” Mila was 5 weeks old the first time we got to bathe her. While it was not an enjoyable experience for Mila, it was a precious moment that my husband and I got to have because of Allison. She also made a cute name tag to go on Mila’s crib. I looked forward to nights when Allison would be Mila’s nurse. Her ability to be straightforward but positive makes her an incredible nurse.
I am SO stinkin’ grateful that Allison and I kept in touch because in 2016 I had the honor of photographing her and Trevor’s stunning Hilton Head wedding! Their wedding is still one of my very favorites. Her bridals are equally amazing.
And NOW I’m photographing their growing family (y’all they are having a girl and I cannot. I’m so excited it’s insane.)
Allison & Trevor – Thank you for allowing me to photograph your love story. Thank you for putting up with my crazy ideas and for laughing at my pitiful jokes. You guys are going to be stellar parents and your sweet little girl is so so so very lucky.
And Allison (sorry Trevor, I need a moment with your wife 😉 ) – I’m super awkward in person telling people how much I appreciate them – what can I say, I’m better in writing – but I hope you know that you hold a very special place in my heart. You are simply amazing.
