Wowza! It’s been some time since I last posted and I think it’s time I changed that! I have had some AMAZING sessions over the last few years (way too many to blog!) but I thought I would make my blogging return with sharing some of my favorite locations around downtown Greenville.
If you are from/live/have visited Greenville, it’s easy to see this city’s beauty. Sometimes I look around and just sigh – how lucky am I to call this town home!?
Now, being able to see the beauty of this city and have a clear idea of what might be a great spot for a photoshoot is a whole different thing. I wanted to quickly share a few of my favorite spots to help give you some ideas. There is the obvious one – downtown, especially Falls Park (which does require a permit), but I also adore McPherson Park, N. Main Rotary Park (my true fav), and Furman. Below are some examples of each location throughout the year!
First off is my favorite spot. It is a sweet little park right in my neighborhood. I choose it 9 times out of 10 for a few reasons: parking is easy, it’s pretty all year long, and I can walk there 😉
One of my new favorite spots is Furman. I have shot here a few times, but I love one little section in particular – the lighting is so pretty all day long.
McPherson Park is another spot that just *chef kiss* is pretty all year long.
Annnnnd last but not least – DOWNTOWN. Our BEAUTIFUL downtown. I love every little thing about Greenville but having so many great photo spots is a dream. From Wyche Pavillion to Main Street – oh you can do no wrong. Falls Park is obviously a huge draw but I would be remiss to not let you know that there is a fee to shoot there ($25 on weekdays, $50 on weekends) but it is absolutely worth it. The park has so many sweet little nuggets and beautiful pockets that it’s a wonderful location idea.
There are MANY other beautiful spots but these are my top (for now). Other stunning backdrops are Bearwallow Mountain, Sassafras Mountian, Pretty Place, Cedar Falls Park, and Table Rock.
If you have any questions or other location ideas, let me know!
