There is something special about newborn photography. It’s such a beautiful time between a new family and capturing that time is such an honor.I was SO excited when Suzie asked me to come photograph their newest addition. I hit I-26 and drove to Columbia in anticipation for this awesome lifestyle newborn session.

I loved working with this family when Big Brother was born and I couldn’t wait to see them. Big Brother’s main focus was holding “his baby” and he did such a great job! He is only a few months older than Mila and to see how wonderful he was with his new brother made my mommy heart so happy. And Little Brother – oh my soul, he is absolutly precious. He had the most prefect skin and just went with the flow.

This session was so out of my comfort zone because we shot the ENTIRE session in one room! A majority of it was on their master bed! I wasn’t sure how I would capture enough variety being in one space but this is by far one of my favorite sessions. EVER. It really challenged me and I can’t thank Suzie and Britt enough for trusting me with this task! This session turned out 1,000 times prettier than I could have ever imagined. Suzie told me from the start she wanted a simple, laid back, and less posed newborn session and I think they nailed it. I mean, this is one beautiful family!
