I’ve known Kayla most of my life – we went to school and grew up in the church together! When she asked me about doing maternity photos for her and her husband, Chris, in downtown Charleston I was so excited. We haven’t seen each other in probably a decade, at least since high school graduation, so I was nervous but mostly excited! It’s funny how some things change and some things stay the same. I’m still so jealous of her red hair but after spending the evening walking around and then having dinner at 1KEPT, it was fun to catch up on life.
Kayla and Chris were down for whatever! I haven’t been to Charleston in over 4 years so I told them I had scouted a few places but if they were ok with it we could just roam around. I am so thankful for their energy, laughter, and trust. I adore this sweet session and I hope y’all do too! Next time I’m in the Lowcountry these two will have a newborn! What!? Oh how life changes and oh how sweet it is!
